Jean-Maurice Payeur's new album follows in the footsteps of his previous work, presenting the electric guitar from a different and original perspective.

His first effort, "My Industrial Steel Lung," explored the subtleties of ambient and new-age music within a soundscape characterized by the frenetic rhythm of urban and industrial life.

Meanwhile, "Fast Forward Rest," woven from drum and bass and progressive techno and tinged with cinematic soundscapes, addresses the ephemeral and superficial nature of social interactions offered by our social networks.

These two worlds are inspired by his love of urban life, architecture in both its literal and figurative sense, and his fascination with new sounds, resulting in a musical combination where the electric guitar blends seamlessly into a resolutely modern electronic soundscape.

An intriguing album with catchy melodies, it's easy to listen to from beginning to end and will undoubtedly mark a significant milestone in Payeur's artistic journey.

Le nouvel album de Jean-Maurice Payeur s'inscrit dans la continuité de ses précédents travaux, présentant la guitare électrique sous un angle différent et original. Son premier effort « My Industrial Steel Lung » explorait les subtilités de la musique ambient et new age au sein d'un paysage sonore caractérisé par le rythme effréné de la vie urbaine et industrielle.

De son côté, « Fast Forward Rest », tissé de drum and bass et de techno prog et teinté d'orchestrations sonores cinématographiques, aborde la nature éphémère et superficielle des interactions sociales offertes par nos réseaux sociaux.
